Hilary is thrilled to be director of the Newtowne community. She brings over 20 years of extensive experience building model early childhood programs, specifically with the Reggio Emilia approach in mind. She has worked as an advocate in her own community as a parent supporting major educational initiatives, and believes wholeheartedly that a child’s learning experience relies on the presence of three major educators: the adult (both parents and teachers), the environment, and a child’s peers. She is honored to be orchestrating this collaborative community of learning. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Development, and an Associate’s Degree in Human Services. She is working to complete her Master’s Degree studies. She lives in Rowley, on the north shore, with her husband and her three children.
